| So I havent quite finished this yet, but the first part of the serries up to about 8 was one of the most amazing anime experiences I have had. The direction the produces took was not entirely what I was expecting and seems more like Huck Finn than anything else (there was some awesome potential which seems to have gone untapped).
So, I finished it, yes I can see why people might not like the ending, but personally, I enjoyed it. I found the ending to be satisfying. Trippy is definately a keyword for many of the episodes, surprisingly good at getting you to think about what is real, fortunately has the good sense to give you a definitive answer in the end.
I give this a 9 for actually being though provoking and engaging. The artwork and animation are excellent (I watched the h264 subs by shinsen).

| So the first few seasons of this were great and actually had some nice tension and setup etc. Unfortunately it should have been terminated with a happy ending after no more than 3 seasons. As it stands there is just too much and the plot goes away, hence why it is on hold and probably never to be finished. And now permanently abandoned. |
